High Court judgment confirms standards for pharmacy professionals are lawful

The High Court has today handed down its judgment in relation to the PDA’s application for judicial review of the new standards for pharmacy professionals. The PDA’s application for permission to seek a judicial review in relation to the standards was refused.

In today’s judgment, the Honourable Mr Justice Singh affirms a number of important principles, including that pharmacy professionals should be expected to meet the standards at all times.

Scam calls requesting bank details

We have received a report from a pharmacy owner that they received a call from someone falsely claiming to be from the GPhC, who requested the pharmacy’s bank details.

If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the GPhC, please take their full name, end the call and call our contact centre on 0203 713 8000 to check if this is a genuine call or not.
