We have become aware of an issue with the use of a security feature recently introduced by Worldpay, our online payment providers we use through MyGPhC.
Some registrants are finding that their declaration and payment are being rejected once they reach or use this function in the process.
We brought stakeholders together to talk about workplace pressures and the role everyone can play to address them
Last week we brought together a variety of stakeholders from within and outside of pharmacy including pharmacy owners, academics, representatives from professional bodies and pharmacy professionals to begin to explore issues related to workplace pressures and to consider what role different organisations and individuals can play to address the issues raised.
Duncan Rudkin, the chief executive of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), will today emphasise that pharmacy owners must continue to make sure their pharmacies have enough staff, suitably qualified and skilled, for the safe and effective provision of the pharmacy services provided, even after the expected cuts to funding in community pharmacy come into effect.
Today we have released more data about the performance of candidates in the June 2016 registration assessment, including:
- First attempt candidates’ percentage pass rate by training provider
- Anonymised marks of individual candidates who passed the assessment at the first attempt and trained in either hospital or community settings, as well as the school of pharmacy where they studied
To protect candidates’ personal data, the information includes only those statistics where individual candidates cannot be identified.
