Broad support for revalidation proposals highlighted in consultation report

We have published a report which highlights that there was overall support for the proposals for revalidation for pharmacy professionals among respondents to a consultation we held earlier this year.

Over 1800 individuals and 80 organisations responded to the consultation, with over 2400 others taking part in events and meetings across Great Britain.

More data on June 2017 registration assessment performance

Today we have released more data about the performance of candidates in the June 2017 registration assessment, including:

  • First attempt candidates’ percentage pass rate by training provider
  • Anonymised marks of individual candidates who passed the assessment at the first attempt and trained in either hospital or community settings, as well as the school of pharmacy where they studied

GPhC welcomes positive PSA performance review

The GPhC today welcomed the Professional Standards Authority’s (PSA’s) annual review of its performance which found, for the second consecutive year, that the GPhC had met all of the PSA’s standards for good regulation in 2016/17.
