GPhC fees to remain at current levels

The GPhC’s governing council has agreed the organisation’s budget for 2016/17 and decided that fee levels for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy premises will remain at current levels for the financial year 2016/17

Update on Pharmacy2U medicines supply

The GPhC carried out a special inspection visit of Pharmacy2U’s premises on 22 December, alongside representatives of NHS England, after concerns were raised about patients not receiving their prescription medicines

Our inspection found that Pharmacy2U had failed to meet some of our standards for registered pharmacies. In particular, there was a failure to identify and manage the risks to patients receiving their medicines as a result of the recent move to new premises; and medicines and medical devices were not being supplied to some patients in a timely manner.

CPD submissions 2016 – Update

 

The paper CPD submission facility will be withdrawn from the regular methods for submission of CPD entries with effect from 1 January 2016.
