The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) has appointed Megan Forbes as its Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Operations.

Megan will join the GPhC on 5 June 2017 from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Megan’s responsibilities at the FCA have included leading the IT, finance, HR, communications and legal teams that support the FCA’s enforcement division. She has led multidisciplinary teams through significant programmes of change and has also managed teams of investigators tackling misconduct in financial services.

Due to scheduled maintenance, the website is likely to be down for approximately an hour between around 8pm and 9pm on Tuesday 8 March and again for approximately 15 minutes from around 6pm on Wednesday 9 March.
