New deputy chief executive appointed

We have appointed Megan Forbes as its Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Operations.

Megan will join the GPhC on 5 June 2017 from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Megan’s responsibilities at the FCA have included leading the IT, finance, HR, communications and legal teams that support the FCA’s enforcement division. She has led multidisciplinary teams through significant programmes of change and has also managed teams of investigators tackling misconduct in financial services.

GPhC appoints deputy chief executive

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) has appointed Megan Forbes as its Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Operations.
